Join us for this new USAT sanctioned event at beautiful Alpine Lake at Innsbrook Resort! It is an open water practice followed by a swim/run race. How fun is this?!?!

TIME: 8:00am - 10:30am

AGENDA & DESCRIPTION:

6:45-7:45am - Packet Pick Up at the MSE Tent near the boat ramp (swim start). Bring a photo ID. 

8:00am - 8:50am - Open Water Practice - the 750M swim course will have buoys and lifeguards from BYLG.

8:00am - 8:15am - Optional Open Water Clinic and Swim - Coach Sally will lead a clinic for newbies at 8am. 

​

8:50am - Everyone exits the water to prep for Swim/Run. 

9:00am – Kids Dip 'n' Dash Swim starts begin!

9:20am – Dip 'n' Dash Swim starts begin!

SWIM START:

In-water wave start.

KID SWIM INFORMATION:

The swim is an out and back in which swimmers will go around a swim buoy. The swim course will be lined with lifeguards and volunteers.  Kids may use personal flotation devices such as lifejackets, swim buoys and/or kick boards.  

FOSS SWIM SCHOOL KIDS DIP 'N' DASH AWARDS: Listen for announcements. We will do the awards as soon as the majority
have finished.

• Top 3 Overall Male & Female Awards for the Youth Jr. Age 7-10 and Youth Sr. Age 11-15

• 1st in each Age Group Male & Female Awards. Note: Racing age is a child’s age at the end of the year (12/31/23) The age group break down is, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13+​

ADULT DIP 'N' DASH AWARDS:

Listen for announcements. We will do the awards as soon as the majority have finished.

• 1st in each Age Group Male & Female Awards: Note: Racing age is your age at the end of the year (12/31/23) The age group breakdown is 10-year age groups, 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

USAT MEMBERSHIP:

This is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must be a USAT annual member or purchase a one-day membership. YOUTH participants are eligible for a FREE USAT membership. To obtain the coupon code for your free membership please email info@mseracing.com. 

NOTE: If you register for the Kids Splash and Dash or the Adult Dip n' Dash, the open water practice is included! AND a portion of our proceeds will go to Swim Across America - St. Louis! The Swim Across America St. Louis event happens the following weekend in Alpine Lake!

ON COURSE NUTRITION & DRINKS:

Water will be available at a self-serve aid station along the run course for all athletes. Please carry your own nutrition.

INCLEMENT WEATHER & REFUND POLICY:
There is NO rain date, We Go Rain or Shine. In case of inclement weather,
management reserves the right to cancel/alter/modify the race/course for safety
concerns. In any case there will be No Refunds of race entry fees. Each athlete must
accept any such risk of their entry fee paid. There is no complementary race entry to a
future race. All monies collected are used to develop and produce the event, including
all race supplies, staffing, and administration. We pledge to make every effort to
produce a fair, safe, and exciting event for all. Any decision we make to go forth with the
race is based on the overall event safety. We have a strict NO REFUND policy.
 

PHOTO DISCLAIMER:

There may be a photographer on site capturing pictures of the event. Since this is a public event, we reserve the right to post photos on our social media or agency website. Photos may also be used in promotional materials.
