Weekend SCHEDULE
LOCATION:
Join Sally for a rejuvenating winter escape at Camp Manitowa, perfect for adventurous women who cherish nature.
Stay cozy in our heated cabins and embark on guided excursions to explore breathtaking state parks and scenic winter hiking trails. After a fulfilling day, relax by the bonfire at our new outdoor kitchen, where we’ll enjoy delicious dinners together.
Remember, you can tailor your experience by choosing the activities that resonate with you!
Here is the agenda:
Friday:
3:30-4:30pm - Arrive and get settled in your yurt
5:00pm – Camp tour, gather for a rundown of the weekend events, introductions, meet our facilitators, & set intentions for the weekend
6:00pm – Dinner - the food is delicious
Bonfire and social time
Saturday:
Anytime: Hike around camp trails
7:30 – Coffee available in the kitchen
8:00am - BREAKFAST & prep for departure
9:00am – Depart on the camp bus to Ferne Clyffe State Park
12:00pm - Lunch - we will bring our grab n' go lunches and enjoy them at a picnic table or on the bus between hikes at the Lake View Shelter.
Note: We have 2-3 short hikes before lunch and options for short or long after lunch.
3:00pm - Arrive back at camp, change, get cozy!
3:45pm - Yoga for all levels with Libby Fennewald
4:30pm - Soundbathing with Jessie Ivesco
5:15pm - Break or arts & crafts happy hour
6:00pm – Dinner
7:00pm - Music, dancing, & fun around the bonfire
Sunday options:
7:30am - Coffee available in the kitchen & Grab n Go BREAKFAST
8:00ish - Hike around camp OR arts and crafts
8:45am Yoga for all levels with Libby Fennewald
9:30am Sound bathing with Jessie Ivesco
10:15am - Brunch & Reflection
11:00am Option archery, arts and crafts, or kayaking depending on the weather. Sally will offer direction after brunch
12:00pm - Departure.....until next time!
During the entire camp, you can pick and choose what you will attend. Curate your weekend!
Take all the free time that you want!
Sleep late, have a friend grab you breakfast!
What to bring:

Bedding or sleeping bag, pillow, & towels (if you are flying in, contact Sally about this)

A variety of clothing/hats for activities and weather changes

Hiking boots or hiking shoes

Wool socks/gloves/hat/underliner

Small backpack to carry your drinks/food on the hikes

Hand warmers

Nalgene bottle or similar for hydrating

Small blanket or throw

Flashlight &/or headlamp

Ear plugs (just in case!)

Wool long undies for sleeping

Lodging:
Heated cabins - there is a limited # of cabins! This retreat will fill to capacity!
