A unique 5k/10k/Half Marathon in the heart of downtown St. Charles with a little bonus, non-technical, shady trail off of the Katy....truly a hidden gem! Come on out and see for yourself! Enjoy these flat and fast routes starting on the Katy Trail near Bike Stop Cafe and the Katy Depot. All the routes go through Frontier Park then north on the soft path. Beautiful river views! The 5k turns around in Dusable Park. The 10k continues on the shady, non-technical trail that runs parallel to the Katy Trail. The half marathon course will be announced soon. Post run fun at the Bike Stop Cafe including coffee and beer specials and social time on the patio!

6:30am – 10:30am
AGENDA & DESCRIPTION:
6:30am-7:00am – Half marathon race day packet pickup. We highly encourage that all athletes pick up their packets at the pickup event on Friday, June 14th (see above for more details), but if you cannot race day packet pickup is available from 6:30am-7:00am for the half marathoners.
7:30am– Race start begins for half marathon participants.
7:00am-7:30am – 5K & 10K race day packet pickup. We highly encourage that all athletes pick up their packets at the pickup event on Friday, June 14th (see above for more details), but if you cannot race day packet pickup is available from 7:00am-7:30am for the 5K & 10K athletes.
8:00am – Race start begins for 5K and 10K participants
ON COURSE NUTRITION:
Please carry your own nutrition. Water and electrolyte drink on the run for all athletes.
FINISH LINE FUN:
Food, drinks and music at the finish line! Post run fun at the Bike Stop Cafe including coffee and beer specials and social time on the patio!
AWARDS:
Listen for announcements. We will do the awards as soon as the majority have finished.

Top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers for each race

Top 3 Age Group Male & Female Awards for each race in the following age categories: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
RACE CUTOFFS: Half marathon distance athletes have 3.5 hours to complete the half marathon. 5K and 10K distance athletes have 3 hours to complete the 5K and 10K.
Race management reserves the right to remove an athlete from the course and DNF the athlete if course officials determine there is no possibility of an athlete finishing before the posted cut off times based on an athlete’s location, time, and average speed up to that point.
RACE SHIRT GUARANTEE:
Last day to register to guarantee a race shirt is May 25, 2024.
INCLEMENT WEATHER & REFUND POLICY:
There is NO inclement weather makeup date. In case of inclement weather,
management reserves the right to cancel/alter/modify the race/course for safety concerns. In any case there will be No Refunds of race entry fees. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid. There is no complementary race entry to a future race. All monies collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies, staffing, and administration. We pledge to make every effort to produce a fair, safe, and exciting event for all. Any decision we make to go forth with the race is based on the overall event safety. We have a strict NO REFUND policy.
PHOTO DISCLAIMER:
There may be a photographer on site capturing pictures of the event. Since this is a public event, we reserve the right to post photos on our social media or agency website. Photos may also be used in promotional materials.
