Website

Laughter yoga is an incredible form of exercise and community building that people practice all over the world. Invented by a doctor in the mid 90s, it's a worldwide phenomenon that I am thrilled to share with people, both through explanation and TRYING IT! Laughter is incredibly good for us and we should be doing it for the health of it. Learn about the many benefits and see how great you feel even after just a few minutes. People of all ages and abilities can do it, it's free, easy, and the impacts last for days. Kids laugh an average of 300 times a day. Adults? 15. Come rediscover your laughter as a life force!

A childhood of traipsing barefoot in the Arizona desert chasing her gold prospector dad established Debby’s early connection to nature and the outdoors. Today you’ll find her roaming on a bicycle, monkeying up tall rocks, swimming and paddling along in waters and practicing yoga on any surface available. Debby values community, creativity, adventure, and the healing power that wild places can provide. She has been artistically helping others come home to themselves through yoga’s self care and the growth that comes from discomfort for thousands of hours, all around the globe.

While co-hosting a women’s retreat in 2011, Debby first discovered her body’s potential to create yoga shapes when she set down her camera and tried her first asana — Warrior III. The challenge, the balancing, the concentration and skill, all compounded with her ego’s validation from students oohing and ahhing at her natural ability. She’s been a devotee to the practice since. Yoga helped her navigate many of life’s transitions, including a career shift from corporate America into the humbling role of yoga teacher. Then 2020’s lock down provided this single mom the opportunity to add “500-hour yoga teacher” to her list of certifications. She’s currently studying Somatics and Qi Gong and hopes to enhance the spectrum of potential for her students through this additional education.

So carpe your mat, and join Debby for a journey bound to embolden you to love, live and perhaps giggle-snort just a little more!
