MINNIE HAHA PARK
When originally conceived, Minnie Ha Ha was popular swimming beach in the 1930's
Minnie Ha Ha contained the very first paved road in St. Louis County was paid for by August Busch of Anheuser Busch fame!!
Remember toll bridges? Niether does anybody else! But there was a toll bridge right here into Fenton.
Despite 10 floods in the past, Minnie HaHa is still a gorgeously maintained park with 3 playground areas, 3 Picnic Shelters, 2 soccer fields, and a ccenic overlook of the Meramec River
Minnie HaHa Park is named for Minnehaha, a fictional Native American woman from the epic tradegy "The Song of Hiawatha". Minnehaha was a Dakota woman and shared the love of Hiawatha, an Ojibwe warrior (not to be confused with the historical Iroquois Hiawatha). After sharing many adventures, both natural and supernatural, Minnehaha sadly dies during the winter
