Groovy Gritty Gravel Race

MSE Racing is once again excited to host the Groovy Gritty Gravel Race at the beautifully wooded Innsbrook Resort. This challenging race is incredibly fun, pretty tough, and gorgeous! You can do it on any OFF road bike: hybrid, mountain, gravel or cyclocross bikes. The race starts at 10:00am at the historic Innsbrook log cabin located across from scenic Alpine Lake. A portion of our proceeds goes to Wags and Whiskers, a pet rescue center in Warrenton, MO.

RACE DAY & Finish Line Fun

Innsbrook Resort

596 Aspen Way Drive

Wright City, MO 63390

Once you get to the Innsbrook Resort MAIN GATE, tell them you are doing the Groovy Gritty Gravel Race. There will be cones and arrows to guide you to the event location once you are on site. It is very important to enter at the main gate, navigator may try and take you to a closed entrance.

After you enter through the MAIN GATE follow THESE directions:
Take the first, quick right on Aspen Way Dr
Turn right on Meadow Valley.
Turn left on Lake Konstanz
Turn left on Alpine Lake Dr.
Right when you start to see the lake on the right, you will see a small sign on the LEFT for the Log Cabin. Turn there. Once you turn onto the gravel road to the cabin and go down the hill you will soon ride up, you will see a volunteer or sign for parking in a grass field to your right.

9:00am – 2:00pm

9:00am - 9:30am - Timing chip pickup, make sure you bring your photo ID.

9:50am – Line up 9:50am for the pre-race talk

10:00am – Race start begins!

While riding, athletes need to pay attention to the green cones with
arrows. No arrow? Don’t turn! We only have a couple volunteers, so riders need to pay attention. The gravel is deep in some parts and very loose - we encourage getting after it but please slow it down on descents and ride smart.

Athletes will have 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete each loop. Race management reserves the right to remove an athlete from the course and DNF the athlete if course officials determine there is no possibility of an athlete finishing the given loop before the posted cut off times based on an athlete’s location, time, and average speed up to that point.

Stick around after the race for post ride refreshments, firepits and music!

Listen for announcements. Awards will occur for each distance once enough finishers are in to solidify results for that distance.

There is no inclement weather makeup date. In case of inclement weather,
management reserves the right to cancel/alter/modify the race/course for safety concerns. In any case there will be No Refunds of race entry fees. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid. There is no complementary race entry to a future race. All monies collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies, staffing, and administration. We pledge to make every effort to produce a fair, safe, and exciting event for all. Any decision we make to go forth with the ace is based on the overall event safety. We have a strict NO REFUND policy.

There may be a photographer on site capturing pictures of the event. Since this is a public event, we reserve the right to post photos on our social media or agency website. Photos may also be used in promotional materials.
